Michelle brought us her mother's 1970s wedding dress which she wanted to wear for her wedding, however, it required some dramatic alterations.
This was an interesting and challenging project as we had to recut and construct the dress to fit her body shape and style perfectly whilst only having the original dress at our disposal. An inner boned bodice was constructed and fitted into the dress in order to support the strapless design. The weight of the skirt was drawn back into the train, creating a fitted silhouette from the front. Swarovski crystals were hand stitched to the lace for that extra sprakle.
